BUY A PLAIN WREATH
Of any size and or color. These can be found at craft stores, on the internet, and also at bigger stores during Christmas time.
DECIDE HOW TO DECORATE YOUR WREATH
Figure out your theme, color scheme and what you wish to put on your wreath. An ideal Christmas wreath would use the colors green and red, but you can also be creative. Other common themes include starfish (nautical), Fourth Of July, Halloween, fall, spring etc., but be unique in any way you wish.
BUY MATERIALS
Ribbons, little ornaments, bobbles, odd ends, anything that you want to go on your wreath. If you can't find these at craft stores, thrift and second-hand stores often have a stock of these at a low price.
LAY EVERYTHING OUT
Lay out all that you bought when you get home. Figure out exactly what you want it to look like. Draw it out if necessary.
BE CREATIVE
Create and have fun as you create a homemade wreath that you will treasure forever and you can always use as a wonderful decoration.
